Bethanie Group goes mobile

The Bethanie Group, Western Australia’s largest not-for-profit aged care servicesprovider, has recently launched their mobile website. Built by West Perth-based Loaded Communications, it allows iPhone, android and blackberry users to access to Bethanie’s website details in a user-friendly format.
Bethanie Marketing and Brand Manager Chris Frame said: “The mobile website includes details on all Bethanie sites, across all four divisions, and also allows users access to job listings via Seek’s mobile website. It’s important to our brand to ensure we keep up with technology and at the end of the day, mobile sites like this just mean much easier access to our services.”

Who did the brandmark?
A vector reversed out of a circle. Hope Chis didn’t pay too much.
Its pretty lame and a lazy effort.
Really like it. An aged care provider thinking about the mobile space is a great first step into this arena for a usually very traditional media industry.
This blog really has become the realm of haters!
Well I say well done to Bethanie as a not for profit looking after the aged in our state to invest any money to allow access to their services via mobile is impressive.

Have family in Bethanie care – as I understand it the Bethanie brandmark is representative of a fig tree which is historically connected to Bethanie the word and the organisations original Christian origins. This group was originally Church of Christ.
Being in the industry, I’ve been watching this group evolve after they moved their advertising account to Brand last year and I am impressed by how they have managed to reposition, and really don’t think your comments on the brandmark are jutified. Loaded made their site, not the brandmark… The brandmark has a place in the companies history and seriously, what else do you want? What do you have against circles? You didn’t even bother to think about what the logo represented before criticising it.
I really don’t understand why people have to critisise for criticisms sake. I for one am happy to turn to Bethanie for care and being able to access phone numbers and location details etc. easily from my cell makes life a lot easier for me.
