303 MullenLowe ECD, Richard Berney, has completed a project for his wife, Perth folk-pop singer Lucy Peach, called ‘BOMB’, which premiered on theMusic.com.au.

Shot in four beautiful Western Australian locations, Berney worked with DoP Dave LeMay, post production house The Office of John Cheese and Anna Forbes-Rohan, professional ‘flower wrangler’, to direct the video as part part of Peach’s Silver Tongue EP.

“Music videos are a mission, but like all great missions we’ve made some lifelong friends and it has spawned some other very interesting journeys,” said Berney. “We’ve been holidaying with our kids up at the first location (Wedge Island) in ‘Le Shack’ ever since, and Lucy was actually encouraged to write ‘My Greatest Period Ever’ on the second set by a Fringe World curator. The latter has just gotten completely out of hand in the best possible way.”

Berney has collaborated with Peach on several passion projects. He directed her Be So Good video clip over the course of their first 18 months together and they performed My Greatest Period Ever together at TEDx Perth late last year. That show ran at the recent Fringe World Festival in Perth and is heading to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in March.
