Beautiful Pictures’ Paul Komadina nominated for Australian Directors’ Guild music video award

Commercial director Paul Komadina, signed to Beautiful Pictures in Perth, has been nominated for an Australian Directors’ Guild award for his music video Wise Up for triple J favourites, Ruby Boots.
Komadina will be among esteemed directors such as Glendyn Ivin, Tim Bullock, Trent O’Donnell, Cate Shortland and Nash Edgerton. The ADG Awards celebrate the outstanding work of Australian screen directors over the past year across 17 categories including film, television, multiplatform, music and advertising.
The video was produced by WA talent including DoP Dave Le May and effects house Last Pixel, and will be competing against videos for acts such as Bob Dylan, James Reyne and Something for Kate.
