The Communications Council hosted the 2012 AWARD School graduation last night at The Vic hotel. AWARD School head Kurt Beaudoin presented prizes to the top students. This year’s winner was Alida Henson (left). 2nd Jessica Witt. 3rd Sarah Bahbah. Steve Vojkovic from Boogie Monster sponsored drinks. More details when we get the PR release.

Well done to all the winners. But they should really now go off, experience life and enrich themselves before diving into local agency life. The most import skill a young creative can nurture is the ability to transfer authentic life experience into ideas and executions. You just don’t get that on 20 days holiday a year.
Thanks for the kind words Sage. I agree life experience is very important. AWARD school isn’t just for uni students though. Most of us were working full-time whilst taking this course.
