AWARD Encouragement Award open for entries

AWARD’slong-standing tribute to unparalleled junior creative stars, theEncouragement Award, launches again this week, with the winnerpresented on stage at the AWARD Awards presentation evening on November12th, 2009.

Entries for the Encouragement Award opens today, Tuesday 6th October and close on Friday, 23rd October 2009. 

The Encouragement Award has honored young creatives since 1992,recognising those who have demonstrated an outstanding ability toanswer briefs with a freshness of thought and creativity.

Previouswinners include Sylvianne Heim, Tania Burkett, Lynett Chang, CosLuccitti, Pic Andrews,Ted Royer (pictured above right), Melissa Marsh,Dejan Rasic (below left), Damien Eley, Scott Harris, Leo Premutico(left), Wendy Lawn, Hywel James, Guy Rooke (pictured top right), LindaHonen, Hilary Badger, Rebecca Carrasco (pictured), Derrick Kim, HeatherGreen, Hamish Spencer, Iggy Rodriguez and Brett Colliver. 

Entrieswill be judged by AWARD’s chairman Richard Maddocks, ECD Clemenger BBDOSydney and AWARD’s Chairman of Judges Craig Davis, co chairman andchief creative officer, Publicis Mojo Australasia.

Eligibility Criteria – Deadline, Midday, Friday 23rd October 2009, absolutely no extensions

• Maximum three years in an agency creative department

• Teams and individuals can enter

• Nominations taken by Creative Directors or Agency Management only

• Australian and New Zealand Applicants only

Submissions – as jpeg, mpeg and word.doc/pdfs. Max 4MB per file, to be submitted on CD only. Email submissions will not be accepted. 

• Four examples of the entrant’s work; aired or published within the last 18 months 

• One Written reference from Creative Director or Agency Management – .doc or pdf

• Entrant’s biography – .doc or pdf
