Australia scores 37 finalists in shortlist round of LIA Radio & Audio; 7 for The Brand Agency’s Not The Time campaign for St John Ambulance

MenLikeUs.jpgLondon International Awards (LIA) has announced the shortlist for the Radio & Audio category and Australia has scored an impressive 37 finalists led by Leo Burnett Sydney with 10 finalists. The agency’s Bundaberg Rum campaign – which includes three spots ‘Men Like Us Like Brave’, ‘Men Like Us Like Polar Bears’ and ‘Men Like Us Like Tasting’ – were shortlisted three times each plus the campaign overall was shortlisted also.

The Brand Agency’s Not The Time campaign for St John Ambulance received 7 finalists. The individual executions – ‘Bleeding’, ‘Burns’ and ‘Diabetic’  – as well as the overall campaign were shortlisted in the Public Service/Social Welfare category. The same 3 spots were shortlisted in the Direction category for Eardrum Australia.

Marketforce scored six finalists: Curtin University ‘Women in Engineering’ (x2); and Tuart and Canning Colleges ‘Jerk Duties’ (x1), ‘Jerk Pickles’ (x2) and the overall campaign (x1).

And the good news continued for Southern Cross Austereo Perth’s Matt Dickson. His  Westspecs ‘Shart’ spot co-created with Carl Step was shortlisted in the Personal Items category. ‘Shart’ recently won Best Station Produced Commercial at the 2015 Australian Commercial Radio Awards.
