2015 saw Youngbloods win Gruen’s The Pitch, host a revamped Battle of the Ad Bands and deliver their annual Blood, Sweat and Tears sports tournament. Youngbloods WA also delivered education initiatives ‘Cop A Feel’ and ‘Have A Beer With’ aimed at helping young people in the WA advertising industry.

“Jade and Lucy need to be congratulated on their success in leading Youngbloods over the past couple of years,” said Danielle Norrish, State Manager, The Communications Council. “Chris and Ashley now step up as co-chairs with a combined 4+ years’ experience on Youngbloods. They bring great enthusiasm in their leadership.”

Youngbloods is powered by The Communications Council and committee members represent corporate member agencies, Longtail, The Brand Agency, Gatecrasher, Meerkats, J Walter Thompson – plus media organisations Initiative and Southern Cross Austereo.

Youngbloods WA 2016 Committee is:

Co-Chairs: Chris Andrawes (Longtail) & Ashley Allen (The Brand Agency)

Treasurer: Paige English (Initiative)

Social Media Officer: Andrea Bradbury (Meerkats)

Committee Members: Sarah Kappeler (Marketforce), Emily Howat (Gatecrasher), Adam McGlashan (J Walter Thompson), Emma Fry (Southern Cross Austereo)

Youngbloods WA’s first event of 2016 is only 3 weeks away. The annual Youngbloods Sports Tournament sees agencies competing at Beach Volleyball this year on Friday February 26.
