Allan Myles helps out on Big Feet, a short film up for contention at this year’s Tropfest film festival
Perth based DOP/Photographer Allan Myles has helped out Singapore based ad creatives Brad Wilson and Jonathan Cockett on a short film that is in the running for a finalist place at this year’s Tropfest film festival in Sydney – The World’s largest short film festival.
“Big Feet” tells the story of a young Singaporean girl whose love of running is jeopardised by her ambitious father who pushes her to run competitively. He even introduces her to his all-time hero, 9-time Olympic gold medal winner Carl Lewis.
Big Feet was photographed by Myles and is supported by Lava Films, VHQ and The Gunnery.
Watch the film now and vote with a green thumb.
“And if you fancy voting for Big Feet every day, that’d be nice,” said Brad Wilson.

Beautifully shot Mr. Myles and well done on pushing the boundaries of what the industry expects of you. Even though I needed to watch the ending several times before I completely understood the ‘reveal’, the story was told beautifully with some great imagery.
Thank you Mr Anonymous for your comments , very much appreciated. I loved every minute of my 4 days of shooting. It was a great experience which i hope will be fruitful at Tropfest . Many thanks, Allan
