DesHameister_Oct11_Blog.jpgThe Alcoholics Anonymous radio campaign – Mummy, Co-worker and Sister – written by Gatecrasher’s Des Hameister (pictured) and produced by Brainestorm’s Marty Braine has been shortlisted at the Clio Awards, one of the two big North American award shows.

It continues the strange trend of this campaign being recognised internationally but being ignored locally.

The campaign won two Bronzes at the London International Awards in November last year but missed out at the PADCs, the Campaign Brief Awards and AWARD.

Only two other Australian agencies have been shortlisted in the Radio competition – The Monkeys for IKEA (in Single and Campaign) and 303Lowe Sydney for Harley Davidson (in Campaign).
