Agencies tip-off next Friday in APN ‘Youngbloods, Sweat & Tears’ Basketball Tournament
Next Friday June 27, ad agencies will be going head-to-head in the first of many ‘Youngbloods, Sweat and Tears’ championships.
Each year, Youngbloods plans to host a different kick-ass sport tournament. From baseball to dodgeball, it’s all up to you.
Special guest to kick off their very first basketball championship is Mathiang Muo from the Perth Wildcats. He’ll be helping teams warm up for the competition (and probably showing them up too with his sweet 3-pointers).
The competing teams are from competing agencies, so expect the same hunger to win on court. Agencies in the first Youngbloods, Sweat and Tears championship are:

If you’re not down for playing, it’s all good in the ‘hood – you can compete off the court. The most awesome cheer squad will be receiving a prize, along with the winning team, runner-up and losing team. Southern Cross Austereo will be keeping everyone hyped up with some tunes throughout the day.
We’ve heard that there are going to be some killer uniforms and mascots, so make sure your agency doesn’t get shown up. If your team missed out on playing this year, make sure you still come down to show your support (and check out the competition for next year).

Date: Next Friday, June, 27.
Time: Arrive at venue by 2.45pm. Tournament kicks off at 3pm
Venue: UWA Sports recreation centre, M412, 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley WA 6009
We’ll be announcing winners, runner up, losing team and best cheer squad at Varsity Bar, which is just down the road (88 Broadway, Crawley) at 6.30pm.
There will be food and a tab for the winning team. Let the games begin.
