Adventure World to Marketforce

Marketforce has been appointed to the Adventure World business. Marketforce managing director Carrick Robinson said: “It’s terrific win and gives us a real opportunity to showcase our brand and business building skills on an iconic entertainment brand.”
Campaign Brief understands the agency was up against 303, Jack in the Box, JMG and incumbent Linc Integrated. The appointment is effective immediately.
Marketforce’s Consulting division has also been appointed to a brand communication strategy project for the WA Treasury Corp, a Government entity responsible for state borrowing and investment.

That’s great news. Especially with Tourism walking out of the door. Anyone got any idea what this account is worth?
10.44, It’s worth approximately four family passes.
It’s not worth much… I used to deal with them.
They use Intiative as a media buyer – they get most of the money ($800k media spend) unless AW is taking that to Marketforce too??
Who is Jack in the box?????
Thank God! I was so sick of that jingle and those silly voice-overs!
1.26 – try Googling them…
At least four family passes means it will be more lucrative than tourism.
Hopefully we’ll see the first adventure world creative award since 1992 or whenever it was
1.26 | try here… http://www.thebox.com.au – quiet an interesting agency actually.
Hemorrhoids ‘R’ Us
3.35 – Good comeback!

With a comment like that, you may as well have put your name and agency. And 7.22, if you want to blow smoke up 3.53s ass just walk over to their side of the office and do it, rather than posting on here. Jeez, you guys have NO IDEA how rubbish you make your agency look on here day-in, day-out.
Funny enough – when they used that advert that won all the awards in 1992 for the turbo coaster – it was their worst season for attendances and revenue. They actually went backwards but spent more on creative.
Goes to show you that award winning adverts, don’t necessarily mean award winning business for the client.
Maybe 12.14 – but you remember the turbo coaster from ’92. How much do remember of their recent stuff.
By the way this is not a carrot for one of those all out creativity vs effectiveness debates that always ends up with the “award winning” agencies taking one side and the “retail shops” the other. So please don’t get into that.
The only reason I remember it is because it is always in Campaign Brief!!! I dont actually remember the advert at the time…. therefore it failed on me.
