Adam Marshall_omd.jpgYesterday Campaign Brief carried the news that after almost four years at the helm of OMD WA, Adam Marshall is set to tame a new territory, accepting a new role as Head of Trading in Asia Pacific for Mindshare, based out of Singapore.

Here’s the official press statement issued today by Marketforce Chairman, John Driscoll:

Since arriving in Perth in 2006 Adam held positions with Maxus and the Brand Agency before joining OMD in 2009. Since joining OMD he has overseen the growth of the agency, as well as leading the Agency to be recognised as Campaign Brief Media Agency of the year for the past two successive years.

“In his relatively short time in Perth Adam has made a significant impact on the Media landscape in this town” said John Driscoll. “He has been a great leader of OMD and his efforts and success are only outweighed by his expense account and his appetite to have a good time.

Whilst we will miss Adam, it is fantastic to see his reputation and skills being recognised internationally and I am sure he will achieve great success in his new role in Asia.” said Driscoll.

Driscoll confirmed that the process to find a replacement for Marshall is well advanced with an announcement expected within the next few weeks.

Marshall said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my team at OMD WA, our clients, our media partners and the OMD network. The last three plus years have been brilliant, the agency has grown significantly, and we have been able to deliver memorable work for our clients. Perth has been brilliant to me both professionally and personally and leaving has been a very tough decision. The best part of my career in Perth has been the people, in particular John Driscoll, Mark Pinney, Liv and Kiaran Geen – I will miss you all a lot.”
