Equilibrium picks-up Forrest Chase

East Perth digital advertising agency, Equilibrium, has been appointed to the Forrest Chase account following a recent competitive pitch.

According to Senior Account Director, Warren Gibbs, Equilibrium won the business by creating an extensive campaign that takes advantage of the target audience’s high uptake of social media, and exploits the unique characteristics of the centre.

“Forrest Chase is a unique retail asset in Western Australia with ahuge amount of passing foot traffic every day. Our initial campaignwill engage and create a dialogue in real time with city shoppers,office workers and visitors to the CBD,” said Gibbs.

“As part of our highly-targeted media mix, developed in conjunctionwith our media partners Mitchells and emitch, we have avoided spendingheavily in the mainstream media and instead created a digital andsocial media campaign supported by strategically placed outdoor, aswell as the new Murray Street digital screen.”

The campaign utilises moving billboards throughout the city areaincorporating MoCom technology, which allows passers-by to interact withthe media via their mobile phones to receive exclusive offers andpromotions in real time.

The Forrest Chase website is currently under redevelopmentincorporating blogs and social plug-ins to extend its reach acrossmultiple platforms.

The Forrest Chase win caps off a good first half of the year forEquilibrium having recently won the Belmont Forum account as well asundertaking major projects for Rio Tinto, The Chamber of Minerals andEnergy, Curtin University, Diabetes WA and Fortescue Metals Group.
