AGDA_Sublime.jpgPerth: Sleepy backwater or pulsating centre of creative vibrancy?

AGDA WA has prepared an amazing night to engage your type sensibilities and formally introduce the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) with a talk by the Co Deputy Chair/Australasian Co-ordinator Becky Chilcott, who will present an eye-popping look at some amazing typographic professional practice right here in Australia.

Also Euan Black  will be talking about his experiences completing theannual ISTD student assessment scheme around 10 years ago in Scotlandand how this has helped his career and love of typography.

Plus, Andrew McDonald from ‘The Worst of Perth‘ will explore theequally eye-popping, phenomenally culturally rich street commentary andtongue in cheek community who follow and submit to ‘The Worst of PerthBlog ‘ . Be prepared to engage with a vernacular of critical andknowledgeable talking points that surround us in Perth’s public spaceand daily life, including some of Perth’s greatest Graphic Designblunders, heinous abstractions and comic slip-ups.
