5 WA finalists make 2012 Caxton Awards shortlist

Midalia_Pool Fence.jpgWestern Australian agencies have 5 finalists at this year’s Caxton Awards. Ad Impact “Midalia Steel – Pool Fence” leads the way with two finalists. Marketforce (It’s a Steal), The Brand Agency (RAC Roadside Statistics) and 303Lowe (IKEA Season’s Greetings) are also shortlisted.

A total of 57 finalists have been selected across 20 categories showcasing the finest creativity in newspaper advertising across print, online, mobile and tablet platforms. 19 different agencies scored finalists.

George Patterson Y&R leads the trans-Tasman agency pack with eight finalists, followed closely by Colenso BBDO, Auckland and Whybin/TBWA with seven finalists apiece, and New Zealand’s Special Group with six finalists.

International keynote speakers Jeff Goodby, Derek Robson and Lee Clow will headline the annual Caxton seminar, while Caxton winners will be announced at the Awards Night ceremony on Saturday October 13th.
