303Lowe net two Gold awards for IKEA ‘Rent’ at international Caples Awards for direct marketing

IKEA_Rent_heroimage.jpg303Lowe Sydney/Perth has won two Gold awards at the international Caples Awards in New York, which honour the best in Direct Marketing worldwide. Both Golds were for their highly awarded IKEA ‘Rent’ campaign.

Australia and New Zealand agencies performed admirably at Caples Awards.

Whybin\TBWA Sydney scored three Golds, two for NRMA ‘Car Creation’, the other for the MJ Bale campaign. The agency also scored Silver for NRMA ‘Bus Shelter’, NRMA ‘Car Creation’ and for Goalpost Pictures ‘Sapphires Soul Sync’.

The agency also scored Silver for Google ‘Build with Chrome’.

Leo Burnett Melbourne scored the Courageous Client award for 7-Eleven ‘BYO Cup Day’.

Four Silvers went to Wunderman Sydney, three for Coca-Cola ‘Share a Coke’, the other for Art Gallery Society NSW ‘Portraits’.  MercerBell Sydney won Silver for Nestle ‘Fists of Fusian’, as did AnalogFolk, Sydney for Arvo.

Colenso BBDO, Auckland won four Golds, one for DB Breweries ‘The wine that sold beer’, one for DB Breweries ‘The Wine List’, one for Pedigree ‘Donation Glasses’ and one for Monteith’s Brewery ‘Twigs’. The agency also scored two Silvers for DB Breweries ‘The Wine that sold beer’, plus Silver for DB Breweries ‘The wine is over’, Monteith’s Brewery ‘Sorry about the twigs, folks’ and Pedigree ‘Donation Glasses’.

DraftFCB Auckland scored Gold and Silver for Pak’n’Save ‘Rugby World Cup’.

Silver went to Clemenger BBDO Wellington for KiwiRail ‘See more of New Zealand by train’.
