303 and the Office of Road Safety’s ‘Enjoy the Ride’ cleans up at this year’s PADC Awards

The PADC Awards, held tonight at the Perth Convention Center, was a very big occasion for 303 and their blue-chip client Office of Road Safety. The agency’s ‘Enjoy the Ride’ campaign for the client was the star of the show, picking up Best of Show, two Gold, four Silver and four Bronze awards.
In total 303 picked up three Gold, four Silver and six Bronze awards to be the leading agency on the night.
Despite 303’s dominance there were also plenty of gongs handed out to other agencies on a generous night from this year’s awards jury.
Marketforce were awarded one Gold, three Silvers and three Bronzes. Meerkats picked up three Silvers and six Bronzes. Gatecrasher walked away with four Bronze awards and a Best of Category. Block Branding dominated the Design categories with two Silvers and a Bronze. And AdImpact would have been very happy with their Midalia Steel “Pool Fence” press ad winning Gold and the highly-prized The West Australian Fellowship trip for two to Cannes.

A proud night for many in Perth. Congrats to every finalist and winner.
At this rate the new agency should have been called RICHARDBERNEY303LOWE
Well done to all, and great work on brand identity to the freemantle dockers… And of course to meercats too….
Wow. Dav and Richard, what a tour de force. Richly deserved wheelbarrow load for a really terrific piece of thinking. Congratulations.
BTW, the Enjoy the Ride kudos also needs to be shared with the strategist (Derry?), who was hopefully thanked from the stage by the boys. Invaluable insight.
Sad I couldn’t be there. Enjoy The Ride a fitting best of show. Good to see the rest well spread. Congrats all.
Congrats to 303 -slow down and enjoy the accolades-im sure its just the beginning.
now did anyone find my glasses!
Well spread alright – Should be called the “everyone’s a winner” awards.
Too many awards given away on what was a very noisy night.
Well done Rich & Dav @ 303LOWE
What happened to the Brand?
Overall a pretty decent night. Enjoy the ride was bound to wipe the floor but what about radio? There were some suprises and I’m sure some disappointments. The beautifully written and produced AA work under achieved and a gold went to an idea that claimed to be a Australian first in the intro yet it’s been done before on more than one occasion. At the Festival of Ideas, Ralph Van Dijk played two examples of disrupting the programmed content that he’d done himself and spoke about how he managed to force the stations to
what happened to rare?
Looks like the chicken has finally come home to roost.
Well done to Rich, Dav, Derry, DM and the team at 303Lowe. OORS ‘Enjoy the ride’ is simply sensational…
Apparently there were a few issues with entries.
Enjoy the Ride, officially Perth’s best crack at Titanium thinking
Congrats 303. Well deserved. Shame the night was ruined by people talking loudly throughout the presentation. Rude bastards.
Great night. I think we’ve all grownsed up.
Care about Rare – were the ‘issues’ over Rare’s entries about actually running in media?
I humbly suggest the talking was a result of a directive for a lightning fast presentation.
9.18.
The reason everyone was talking loudly is because 95% of the people there the other night really care about the awards.
The people who turn up are there to get pissed and have a good time.
The awards are for 5% of the insecure creative dicks out there.
If they didn’t present the awards hardly anyone would care.
It’s a global trend. Awards are finished.
Care about Rare 2 . Yes. there were ‘issues’ and it was media schedule related. Come on CB. Spill the beans.
I’m suprised that CD Dodd even got through. What was in that schedule 2 rounds of agency paid community radio and 1 spot of donated commercial radio?
i’m assuming the ones ranting are the ones who went home with nothing except a hangover. guys, just celebrate the ones who did win. so, here’s a big shout out to the guys behind the pool fence ad! loved it. great piece of work, boys!
Fremantle Dockers.
WTF – Obviously nobody else entered.
Sorry guys but…
Pool fence. Another West Caxton comp scam. WAKE UP PERTH! Do you guys do any REAL work?
Look it was an OK night. Bloody boring during the awards. Nobody cares.
