2016 AWARD School Perth information night this Thursday, February 4, at Defector’s Bar Mt Lawley
A team of 11 creative leaders have been appointed to head up this year’s AWARD School – Australia’s pre-eminent training program for aspiring creatives, copywriters and art directors, which will run in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Tasmania and Auckland.
The Brand Agency’s Craig Buchanan (pictured) will once again head AWARD School in Perth.
An information night for the 2016 AWARD School is on this Thursday 4 February, enabling prospective students to question Buchanan and past students on entry requirements, course content, and how to tackle the application process.
The application brief will be released and available to download from the AWARD School webpage this Friday, February 5. Successful applicants will be accepted into a 12-week intensive course designed to spur idea generation across a range of different mediums, covering 10 creative briefs.
Wilf Sweetland, AWARD chairman and managing partner of The Sweet Shop said: “For those looking to break into this great creative industry, this is an invaluable opportunity to learn from and work closely with some of the best in the business – most of whom have experienced the course firsthand. We are calling for applicants from all different backgrounds, so even if you have never before considered a career as a creative but want to find out more, come along to our information night. We will be looking for originality, and of course stamina – this is a tough and competitive course, but also extremely rewarding. We look forward to hearing from you.”
