Book now for the 2012 PADC Festival of Ideas – next Saturday, September 15
The PADC annual Festival of The Festival of Ideas is just around the corner – next Saturday 15 September at the historic Rose & Crown Hotel in Guildford.
PADC President Spencer Battista said the Club needs the support of all members to attend.
“We are a thriving creative community and need to keep the creative soul alive in WA, so we’re looking forward to an exciting, successful 2012 Festival of Ideas.”
The PADC Committee has worked really hard to bring a fantastic, diverse line-up of guest speakers for this year’s event, including:
- Bradley Eldridge, Creative Director, Soap
- Christiaan Van Vuuren, The Fully Sick Rapper
- Nick Garrett, Managing director, Colenso BBDO
- Jonathan Samway, Managing Director / Executive Producer Prodigy films
- Drew Straker, Perth based Mural and Graffiti Artist
Please click here for further details and to obtain the full agenda.
This year the format has changed. The lectures will be in the morning and the Master Class in the afternoon, all on the Saturday.
You then have the option to join the speakers and the Committee for a buffet dinner which includes a 3 hours drinks package. Accommodation is available however you will be required to make your own arrangements in this regard.
Students, to come for the day will only set you back $190 which equates to $47.50 per guest speaker. At such a small price it is an opportunity that you should not miss. This is a fantastic chance to listen to world class speakers and share some one-on-one time.
Please book by no later than this Monday, 10 September. Bookings can be made and paid for online at the PADC website.

From Rotto and spew-laden crossings to Yanchep and bone-chilling caves, and now soft beds and ‘civilisation’ in Mandurah, this Festival just gets betterer and betterer. Huge thanks to the PADC peeps who do a fantastic job to bring us a weekend of creative inspiration and reasons to return to work on Monday. For those who weren’t there, well you weren’t there.
