In a new campaign from The Brand Agency, Kleenheat celebrates its roots as a locally born and bred energy supplier by rewarding West Australians with the chance to win a host of prizes this summer.

Unlike previous campaigns featuring Rodney and Karen, this one focuses on a Kleenheat ‘staff member’ who comes up with the idea of going on a road trip around WA, and posts cryptic location clues as a mechanism to give away great prizes. The campaign plays on the The Office style mockumentary, which captures the jealous reactions of ‘co-workers’ who aren’t on the road trip.

The campaign launched to Kleenheat customers in November and to the general public this week. Running for ten weeks across TV, online video, social media, digital, press and outdoor, its aim is to reinforce Kleenheat’s Western Australian roots in the face of increased competition.

Business Director Carolyn Mooney commented, “We know that when it comes to choosing a gas supplier it’s not all about price, there is pride in being associated with a company that understands and rewards West Australians. We continue to challenge the gas market by doing things a little differently, and putting a smile on people’s faces when they see our ads.”
