Leading Western Australian tourism transport operator ADAMS is breaking new ground on two fronts; providing a shuttle bus service between key locations in the Swan Valley; and pioneering the cutting edge, Western Australian developed, multi-media technology EYEVERT.

EYEVERT promotes the use of online screen technologies to provide passengers with information and real-time benefits using geolocation technologies. According to Forbes Business magazine, customers are now more powerful than ever with their always-connected status and ability to find information in seconds. This trend is forcing businesses to review how they engage and connect with potential customers.

Eyevert_SwanValley_BLOG.jpgEYEVERT’s VORTO technology platform connects individually with passengers via their smartphone. Each bus seatback contains a scannable QR code to seamlessly connect passengers with onboard information and special offers which they can access after they leave the bus.

With a total of six positions available, EYEVERT display screens provide advertisers with a great opportunity to own a 15 second ‘channel’ on every screen on ALL Swan Valley Explorer buses. Advertising material will run on a two minute loop system which allows for up to 10 different pieces of content such as video, images, Facebook page, website, Instagram or Youtube. Every channel screens 10,000 times per month and advertisers’ content can be programmed to appear at a chosen time, day, or geographic location, ensuring messages are always relevant.

This technology provides an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional print options that date quickly and using cloud technology allows content to be constantly updated to ensure accuracy and relevance.

OKeeffe Media, one of Western Australia’s leading multi-media representation companies, has been appointed National Advertising Sales Representative for ADAMS’ Perth.

OKeeffe Media Managing Director, Licia Salomone, said EYEVERT is opening up exciting new opportunities for creative advertisers who are keen to maximise the capabilities of this new medium.

“The ADAMS Swan Valley Explorer is one of the first service types in the world to install this ground-breaking technology and it will provide a unique experience for passengers by keeping them informed by providing next stop information and special offers from local businesses. Advertisers can also connect with passengers via their online booking or shopping pages.”

Salomone said ADAMS’ ‘hop on, hop off’ Swan Valley Explorer shuttle service will carry an estimated 12,500 local, interstate and international passengers per month, a conservative projection based on 3.1 million visitors to the Swan Valley in 2016/17.

At 30-minute intervals, the buses will do a round trip from Guildford train station to selected art galleries, wineries, breweries, gourmet food establishments and fresh produce markets throughout the Swan Valley and return.

“This is an exciting opportunity for advertisers to reach and connect with a targeted and captive audience of thousands in a cost-effective and engaging way that is easily measurable as QR codes have the ability to provide valuable, granular analytics”.

The Swan Valley Explorer buses also have limited bus back availability.
