TCC’s Jump Start delivers strong graduate engagement and recruitment for the WA industry

The Communications Council’s WA Jump Start Graduate Program concluded last Friday making 2018 the sixth consecutive year of this innovative industry engagement program.

The aim of Jump Start is to encourage and support graduate recruitment by – assisting both graduates and agencies to connect – promoting good corporate culture and preparing graduates to deliver a quicker return on investment as they commence employment.

Twenty graduates spent the past 10 weeks with a total of 53 industry professionals from Perth’s best communications agencies: 303MullenLowe; Clarity Communications; Gatecrasher; Marketforce; Meerkats; Initiative Media; The Brand Agency; and Trilogy.

The 2018 Jump Start Graduates are:

The 2018 Graduates now join a strong alumni of 136 who continue to achieve personal success in their careers working across creative, strategy, account management, media, production and marketing – locally, nationally and internationally.

Jump Start also celebrates individual achievements as performance across all areas of the program accumulate grading to recognise a top graduate. Curtin University’s Thomas Scott was announced the 2018 Top Graduate. 

Thomas (pictured with The Brand Agency’s Brendon Lewis and Carolyn Mooney) receives the Ken Painter AdSchool Scholarship valued at $3,000 and has already kicked off his career commencing with The Brand Agency.
