Nova tops Perth Radio Survey 5

GfK_Perth_Survey-5-2018_SHARE.jpgNova 93.7 has retained its #1 position but with a reduced margin in the fifth GfK Metro Radio Survey for 2018, released today.

Nova took top spot with a P10+ Share of 13.9%, only just ahead of mix 94.5 on 13.7%. 

hit92.9 consolidated #3 with a 10.6% share, the only other station with a P10+ Share in double-figures.

96FM slipped -1.2% back to 7.4%.

6PR recorded a slight drop of -0.5% to 7.6%, while 6IX held steady at 5.1%.

Nova 93.7 also took top spot in Breakfast, with Nathan, Nat & Shaun recording a slight rise of 0.2% to 15.0%, while mix94.5’s Clairsy, Matt & Kymba also enjoyed a slight rise of 0.1% to 12.6%.

6PR’s Steve Mills and Basil Zempilas held their 11.1% share to be third in Breakfast, while hit92.9’s Heidi Xavier & Ryan dropped also recorded double-figures with a 10.2% Share.

It wasn’t a good survey for 96FM’s Paul & Lise, who dropped -1.2%% to 6.8%.

6IX’s Tim Gossage also fell, -1.1% to a 3.9% share.

Nathan, Nat & Shaun recorded the biggest Cume (367,000) followed by Heidi, Xavier & Ryan (296,000) and Clairsy, Matt & Kymba (271,000).

Nova couldn’t maintain its Cumulative Audience of more than 600,000 for a third survey but was still on top with 568,000 listeners P10+. mix94.5 recorded 525,000 and hit92.9 517,000 listeners.

Nova also recorded the highest Average Audience (P10+) of 30,000, only just ahead of mix 94.5 on 29,000 with hit92.9 on 23,000.

Amongst commercial DAB+ digital stations, Nova Entertainment’s SmoothFM led the way with a Cumulative Audience of 36,000, followed by Southern Cross Austereo’s Easy Hits with 27,000.
