PROJECT MANAGER – BLACKBOX DESIGN
Blackbox is on the hunt for a Project Manager with a strong digital background to join our team.
If you’re an Account Coordinator looking to take the next step in your career, this role is for you.
We’re a full-service brand strategy, design and digital team based in West Leederville (…and just a skip over the bridge into the heart of Leedy.)
We do great design that is underpinned by solid strategic thinking and combine our expertise with industry best platforms to create stunning and effective visual communications.
You’ll be a core member of our team managing both offline and online projects. You’ll work with a team of talented designers and coders, and be exposed to a diverse range of clients, contributing directly to their marketing success.
Essential requirements:
- A passion for marketing communications
- A great people person and a strong communicator
- Have excellent attention to detail and a keen design eye
- Be a strong administrator, with experience using project management tools
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the agency offline and online production processes
- Have a thorough understanding and practical knowledge of SEO and SEM best practice, tools, implementation and reporting
- Understand website content management systems such as WordPress
- Be a social media native
- Be familiar with Google Analytics use and reporting
- Previous experience working in a digital agency environment will be viewed favourably
- A love for Jus Burgers
This is a role with a lot of scope and one that will see you in client meetings, making a difference.

The Roles
The type of roles we require assistance with in order of priority are experienced:
Senior 3D Artist – Primarily a seasoned generalist with experience across all 3D disciplines Build / Modelling / Lighting / Animation / Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior team members. As a commercial post facility we are open to talking to 3D artists across a range of 3D software Maya / 3D Studio Max / Houdini/ Cinema 4D.
Motion Graphic Designers, Artists and Animators. Looking for Mid Level and Senior Operators specialising in After Effects.
VFX Specialists across a range of Disciplines. Concept Artists / Matte Painters / Match Move Artists / Roto Artist.
Experienced Compositors working across AE / Nuke / Fusion.
Online Editors – working primarily in Adobe Premiere, ideally will be across the full suite of Adobe products. The ability to think on the fly and have good problem-solving skills is very important. Great client servicing in terms of dealing with and managing client’s expectations in their sessions.
We are happy to work with you through employment or a sub-contracting arrangement. We have full time, part time and causal positions available.
