First influencer agency TIA launched in Perth

Western Australia’s first dedicated social influencer marketing agency has been launched to service the State’s new and rapidly growing digital industry.
The Influencer Agency – TIA – brings strategy, accountability and measurement to influencer marketing for WA brands using WA influencers. TIA will also assist influencers wanting to grow their brand by developing new opportunities and manage offers so they can focus on doing what they love – creating quality content and engage with their followers.
TIA has been created by communications strategist Nicole Moody (above right), who also owns award-winning PR agency, Hunter Communications.
“Hunter clients were telling us they understood the power of influencer marketing but were not sure how to incorporate it into their strategic marketing and communications or how to find influencers who were aligned and loyal to their brand. On the flip side, influencers we were dealing with said they wanted to monetize their craft as they knew their targeted consumer reach provides value to businesses,” Moody said. “I believed the effective execution of an influencer marketing campaign required a dedicated and specialist business rather than an add-on to an agency’s offering.
Social media influence is no longer reserved for celebrities and socialites. Everyday West Australians are creating genuine and authentic blogs, Instagram accounts and Facebook pages that are closely followed by thousands, if not tens of thousands, of people. In turn, local businesses are starting to understand the value of having their products endorsed by these trusted third-party influencers.
The Influencer Agency General Manager, Giulia Palandri (above left), said the biggest advantage to influencer marketing is the genuine endorsement of a brand by a person who has built significant trust with their audience. And it is far more strategic than just reach – genuine engagement is key.
Palandria said for micro influencers with as few as 3,000 to 5,000 followers, right through to established influencers with tens of thousands of followers, TIA is able to match them with brands who respect their profession and are willing to pay for their services.
“Influencers are recognizing that their value is far more than a free service or product in exchange for posting.”
She said a successful influencer strategy is aligning the right people to create content that places a brand in high esteem in the hearts and minds of people who might want and need that product or service.
Interest by WA businesses and influencers has been strong with clients already committing to TIA influencer marketing campaigns.
