Premier officially opens 6PR’s new studios

WA Premier Mark McGowan joined Macquarie Media Executive Chairman Russell Tate and Chief Operating Officer Adam Lang for the official opening of 6PR’s new studios today.

After 35 years and a succession of promises by former owners to update the station’s facilities, Macquarie reportedly spent around $4million on two state-of-the-art studios and a fully renovated office space that features an internal atrium.

Tate said 6PR was in a strong position, now with its own dedicated sales team again and Survey 6 showing the station had built some momentum, led by Breakfast team Basil Zempilas and Steve Mills.
