Moves: Erin Corner exits Meerkats while Fionna Brazier joins; Des McNamara exits Evoke Media
Business Director Erin Corner (far left) has resigned from Meerkats to join kitchen appliance company Thermomix as Executive Manager – Marketing & Communication. Corner joined the agency less than six months ago but was head-hunted for the national role.
Meerkats CEO Gavin Bain said they were sorry to see Corner go but understood her decision.
“Erin has contributed a huge amount to Meerkats in a short time. We would have loved her to stay but we would never hold her back from her dream job that combines her passion for cooking and nutrition with brands that need to find their next level. She’ll do amazing things for them and we’re grateful for what she’s done for us. We are however, expecting a free agency Thermomix.
“We are happy to say that Fionna Brazier joins us on Monday as a senior member of the client service team so as one door closes another opens.”
Brazier was most recently Campaign Manager at Tourism WA but has extensive agency experience including DDB (Hong Kong & Sydney), JWT (London) and Marketforce and Longtail.
Sales Manager Des McNamara (above right) has resigned from Evoke Media to join Media Tonic. McNamara had been with Evoke since November 2015. Prior to that he has had sales roles at Fuji Xerox, Adshel and News Corp.
Evoke principal Elaine Barry said they were sad to lose McNamara, and that all sales enquiries should be directed to her (elaine@evokemedia.com.au) at this point.
