Karl Stefanovic and Tim McMillan looking forward to hosting the 2016 Oasis Ball this Friday night

StefanovicMcMillan.jpgThe Nine Network’s Karl Stefanovic will join Nine News Perth’s Tim McMillan to host the 2016 Oasis Ball and Campaign Brief Awards this Friday night, April 29, at Crown Perth.

Co-host of TODAY, Stefanovic is one of Australia’s favourite television presenters. In 2011 he received the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television and Silver Logie for Most Popular TV Presenter.

He is looking forward to visiting Perth to front the WA advertising industry’s biggest night of the year alongside Tim McMillan.

“Perth always puts on the best parties so I can’t wait to get over there and co-host the Oasis Ball with my mate Tim and raise some serious cash for charity,” Stefanovic said.

Tim McMillan has anchored Nine News Perth since January 2013. He first met Stefanovic while working at Channel Nine in Sydney and has filled in for him on the TODAY show on several occasions. They also worked together in 2014 covering Schapelle Corby’s release from jail in Bali.

McMillan is certain the guests will be in for a memorable night.

“Karl is a loose unit and a lot of fun. I can say that because he’s called me a raving lunatic in the past. I’m looking forward to it, should be an interesting night!”

The Oasis Ball and Campaign Brief Awards raise money for The Oasis Project – an initiative of the Western Australian advertising, media and communications industry that provides support to the Salvation Army’s Crossroads West Program.
