AGENCY DIRECTOR – STARCOM, PERTH
Starcom in Perth is looking for an experienced and motivated person to lead the business in Western Australia.
We are the lead agency for Publicis Media, with 500 staff across all capital cities in Australia. We believe that the diversity of our people and great team commitment provides the basis for bold, creative and disruptive work. Our Human Experience Framework helps guide the delivery of meaningful brand experiences, anchored in human understanding and insight. Leveraging our world-leading tools, technology and insight, we create impactful and enduring relationships between people and brands. Our point of difference in Perth is intelligence and personal service. We don’t aim to be seen as the biggest agency in the city, but we certainly want to be talked about as the best.
The Agency Director in Perth will lead a small team in servicing a broad range of clients. This is a highly autonomous role, reporting to the General Manager for WA & SA, located in Adelaide. You will have a keen sense for exceptional client service, a creative mind, good networking skills and a love of the media industry.
You will need to effectively harness the power of our national and global centres of excellence and thought leaders to provide the best for Perth, as well as mentor and train your local team. It’s an exciting and challenging role for someone looking to take control and mould the look and feel of the local business into their own.
To be suitable for the role, you may currently be working as a Senior Account Manager, or Client Business Manager, looking to step up into business leadership. You should have at least 8 years’ experience in the media industry, some of that involving the leadership of people.
Our office is currently in Rokeby Road, Subiaco, close to some of the best shops and eateries in inner suburban Perth. The package for the role will include all the necessary business tools, plus onsite parking. A comprehensive induction programme will ensure a thorough and rapid introduction to the Starcom business and methods.
If you would like to know more about the role, or request a confidential discussion, please contact Mark Clemow at mark.clemow@smvgroup.com.au
We are keen to recruit quickly, as the person currently in the role will be finishing their time with Starcom in early June.
Therefore, expressions of interest will close on Friday April 29th, after which prospective candidates may be interviewed in Perth the following week.
