How to win Best Dressed at the Oasis Ball

| | No Comments

OBBD_1.jpgPreparations for ‘Clash of the Titans’, the 2016 Oasis Ball on Friday, April 29 are in full swing.

That’s just three weeks away so if you haven’t got your frock/tux organised already, first of all fire your stylist and then contact your couturier immediately!

Remember, as well as raising money for our brilliant charity – The Salvation Army’s Crossroads West program – the Ball is a celebration of the best of Perth advertising, so the attire should reflect the qualities the industry is renowned for: restraint, style, grace, and understated elegance.

For example, something akin to this young lady’s outfit – lovely as it is – would perhaps be trying just a touch too hard.

So let’s consider some looks that might see you proclaimed as the Best Dressed at the Oasis Ball.

Umm…no.

No.

Perhaps if it was the ‘Traffic Management & Construction Safety Equipment Ball’. But still no.

Yikes!

And no. And for the gentlemen…

OBBD_7.jpg

Ooh…umm…no.

OBBD_8.jpg

No.

OBBD_9.jpg

Again no. (However appropriate the test pattern look might seem.)

No. OK – maybe Clive.

Well, that wasn’t much help at all, was it? Looks like you’ll have to rely on your own impeccable fashion sense at this stage, which based on what we’ve seen at Oasis in previous years is superbly on-trend anyway.

Remember, when you arrive look for the Evoke Media Best Dressed set, come and have your photo taken, and be in the running for some great prizes. We’re looking forward to seeing what you wear this year.
