ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – Mi9 PERTH

The Nine Network, including Channel Nine, 9Gem, 9GO! And 9Life is the leading network in the advertiser-preferred demographics. The Nine Network’s leading shows include The Voice, The Block, Big Brother and leading sports broadcasting content from the National Rugby League and Cricket Australia.
Reaching 11.1 million Australians each month, Mi9 includes 60+ premium content sites including ninemsn, the Daily Mail Australia and the digital home of Channel Nine, 9Now. Mi9 sells Microsoft’s suite of advertising products including Skype, Outlook & Windows 8; while also leveraging their world leading technology, data, insights and innovation.
Position Overview
- Closely monitor and manage advertising campaigns running on Mi9.
- Work closely with the Mi9 GBM to help maximize revenue and share from agency and client portfolio.
- Develop and foster commercially effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Actively promote the Nine Entertainment Co. brand by evangelizing our positioning in market. Be an exceptional day-to-day representative of the Network in your assigned agency portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Mi9 GBM, working on a group of media agencies and clients that advertise with Mi9.
- Understanding the digital media landscape and the Mi9 Network in particular
- Work towards quarterly revenue and share KPI’s within your team
- Assist your GBM with building media schedules and brief responses for clients
- Closely monitor all booked advertising campaigns to ensure they deliver against booking
- Proactively provide clients with campaign optimization opportunities
- Liaise with agencies to ensure material is supplied on time and to Mi9 specification
- Accommodate and prioritise a number of concurrent campaigns
- Liaise with advertising agencies to coordinate bookings, revisions and rates for campaigns
- Develop and foster commercially effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support the Sales Director with general administrative tasks (e.g. running reports; making bookings; researching; general office management)
- Ensure the promotion and enhancement of NEC’s good name and reputation.
- Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for our business and its future.
- Consistently seen as an active, positive, vocal and proactive NEC representative both internally and externally.
Contribute towards Mi9 revenue targets.
- Sell short-term deals that are available to Mi9’s agency and client portfolio
- Upsell campaigns that are running on Mi9 by proactively approaching the agency/client with additional opportunities
- Actively and proactively work with your GBM to grow this skill set.

MID-WEIGHT WEB DEVELOPER – LATERAL ASPECT
We are looking to add a mid-weight web developer looking for the opportunity to grow into a senior role. Whilst you will be working under the guidance of a Creative Director, the position is largely autonomous and requires a driven professional with the proven ability to self-manage and deal direct with clients of all shapes and sizes.
Ideally you will have at least 3-5 years experience with either an ad agency or creative web company and be looking to take your career to the next level. Lateral is a long established, boutique creative agency with awesome Jolimont offices and a great team of people.
Role
- 10% Design/90% Development
- Creating and maintaining client websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript ( jQuery) & PHP
- Test features across different browsers and mobile devices
- Continuous improvement of both the agency and client web and digital
Essential Skills
- HTML and CSS, PHP, JavaScript ( jQuery)
- Experience in Responsive Design
- Good understanding of User Experience focused on web standards
- Fantastic attention to detail and brilliant communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills and a desire to build the agencies web business
