New PADC Committee aims to broaden the club’s reach and depth of industry connection
The Perth Advertising and Design Club held their Annual General Meeting at the Roof Top Bar of Southern Cross Austereo on Wednesday night.
Club President, Mark Braddock made comment that the past twelve months had been a one of administration focus with the renewal of the club’s Constitution, financial and back-end systems development.
Club Manager Danielle Norrish stated the club was in a strong financial position with a small profit recorded despite a more challenging year with a reduction in revenue from award entries and sponsorship
Mark Braddock was re-elected for a further 2 year term as Club President and introduced his new portfolio strategy to the club committee, broadening the reach and depth of industry connection and experience.
The new PADC Committee elect is:
Mark Braddock – President
James Hawkes – Vice-President
Danielle Norrish – Treasurer/Secretary acting as Club Manager
Gavin Bain – Patron
Allyson Crimp, Joel Pember, Steve Straw, Ross Tinney, Janelle Morse, Alice Cogin and Ian Regnard – Committee members
Committee elect will meet monthly and will be charged with the delivery of Commune and The Skulls and The Diamond Skulls awards.
The focus for 2016 will be on broadening the base of the club to include more expressions of commercial creativity, strengthening existing industry links, AGDA and Emergence; as well as developing new alliances to better represent commercial creativity within Western Australia.
