ART DICTATOR WARTED

Like most Art Directors, you probably can’t spell to save your life. Not a problem – you’ll be working with a Senior Copywriter who will make sure your typos never see the light of day.  However, you can think strategically, work collaboratively and literally art direct the crap out of anything.

Why would you want to work with us? You’ll build your portfolio working across a diverse roster of entrepreneurial clients in areas including FMCGs, education, financial services, technology, F&B and tourism. You will get to work across all media and occasionally turn your talents to design. Past art directors have leaped directly from us to agencies in London, New York, Melbourne and Asia – but we’d love it if you stick around.

Other pluses: good money and great beer, you’ll be part of a tightknit team of 13 (i.e. no big agency politics or egos), we’re smack bang between North Cott Beach and Claremont and walking distance to the train, our heritage-listed old fire station has free parking and showers for the pre-work swim/cycle, we’re family and fur baby friendly.

SALES MANAGER (SYDNEY BASED) – THE WEST AUSTRALIAN

The West Australian is currently seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join the successful advertising sales team based in Sydney.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will lead a team of senior account managers and sales support to maximise advertising revenue across The West Australian, 19 West Regional mastheads and WA’s leading digital website thewest.com.au from the Sydney market.

In this senior role you will bring a fresh approach to media sales through proven sales experience, your local knowledge, contacts and advanced people skills to lead your team. You will act as a mentor and coach for the team ensuring they reach their full potential whilst meeting or exceed their revenue sales targets.

Drawing upon previous sales experience you’ll ensure your team is well planned, present clear, innovative customer based solutions that grow and develop market share. Your ideas will assist the team in opening doors to clients. As a natural leader you will enjoy working with a highly talented, experienced sales team.

To be successful in this role, you will think strategically, be well planned, energetic, driven to succeed and you must have the resilience required to meet the demands that come with a fast paced ever changing industry. You will need to be able to demonstrate your previous success strategies for revenue growth and retention.

You are innovative, a good communicator with sound business acumen. You can demonstrate the ability to form strong working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
