SALES EXECUTIVE – WIN NETWORK

The primary focus of the Sales Executive is to maximise revenue through selling of advertising airtime and act as an integral team member responsible for assisting in the contribution to the achievements of the company’s strategic goals and operational objectives. You will be responsible for the development of new business within the market by developing and extending the relationships with current and new clients in the market.

The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:

  • At least one year experience as a sales professional.
  • Experience in building strong relationships with a diverse customer base.
  • Experience in prospecting, applying sales techniques, tailoring proposals and presenting.
  • Proficiency in the ability to maintain and grow the yield in the market, and the status of the market/client share as well as ability to achieve revenue targets as set by the Company.
  • A demonstrated genuine commitment to outstanding client service.
  • Accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment, contributing positively to the operations and working relationships.
  • Ability to contribute ideas and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
  • Demonstrated positive work ethic and the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to take steps to solve a problem.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
  • Must hold unrestricted drivers licence and own suitable vehicle.
  • Must hold the right to work in Australia.

Who are we looking for?

An experienced National Advertising Sales Manager to help monetise our growing audience. This senior role will be responsible for the delivery of all digital advertising sales functions including:

  • Planning and implementing the advertising sales strategies that will achieve our revenue objectives;
  • New business development, helping create awareness of Rent.com.au as an effective advertising platform for marketers/advertising clients;
  • Overseeing all sales channels including direct, agency and programmatic.

A person that has the following experience:

  • A minimum of five years in a digital advertising sales role, preferably with a digital publisher or media organisation;
  • A recent successful track record in advertising sales and developing long-term relationships with major clients and media agencies;
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising products & technology including programmatic, video & native;
  • Ability to think creatively and develop technical solutions for advertisers when required;
  • A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.

EDUCATION + MEMBERSHIP EXECUTIVE – THE COMMUNICATIONS COUNCIL (WA)

The Communications Council in Western Australia seeks a part-time Education and Membership Executive to work in the Perth office 2 days a week 8:30am to 5pm or 3 days a week of family friendly hours 9:30am to 2:30pm.

As the national peak body of the advertising and marketing creative communications industry, The Communications Council undertakes a wide range of tasks on behalf of the its corporate and individual members.

This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual to assist in the management of the industry’s iconic brands AdSchool, AWARD Award, AWARD School, Effies Awards, Youngbloods, Perth Advertising and Design Club as well as internationally recognised IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) certification programs.

Candidates need to have a minimum of 3 years advertising agency experience and have ideally participated in one our programs during this time. They also need to demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm in promoting the value of the commercial creative industry.

Tasks are varied and include:

  • securing venues, lecturers and students, processing enrolments week to week for AdSchool
  • supporting the local AWARD School program
  • assisting with marketing of The Communications Council and the delivery of PR for local activity and members.
  • assisting with local event management including marketing, ticketing, registrations and financials
  • attending university open days and other activities in the engagement of industry future talent
  • assisting with PADC membership and member enquiries
  • assisting with the Skulls annual awards call for entry, judging and award show which requires travel.
