Forever Classic 6iX launches new Breakfast team Goss and Maddie with television campaign

Forever Classic 6iX has unveiled the station’s first TV commercials for its new breakfast show, ‘Good Morning Perth with Goss and Maddie’.

The new breakfast show starts on Monday, January 11, 2016, hosted by Channel Ten’s Tim Gossage, and former Nova 937 newsreader, Maddie Burke.

In keeping with the ‘forever classic’ sentiment of the station, the TVCs capture the hosts enjoying ‘classic moments’ of their local Perth lifestyles, such as walking along the East Perth waterfront, having a drink at the Scarborough Beach Bar and shooting hoops at Matthews Netball Centre. The 15-second commercials (here and here) were directed by Gavin Murray, who has worked with the Brazil World Cup, The Sochi Winter Olympics, The English Premier League and local news and sport in Perth.

Forever Classic 6iX General Manager Evan Broadway said, “We wanted the ads to reflect our city and the fun that Goss and Maddie will bring to Perth radio. There’s a real gap in Perth breakfast radio for a mature program that’s not too ‘blokey’. We’re confident Goss and Maddie will grow a strong following as our station continues to evolve with local interests and issues while playing the best classic hits.”

The commercials will initially air on Ten, 11 and One HD.
