AW_Kraken_Nova_BLOG2.jpgAs part of a campaign to launch Kraken, Adventure World’s record-breaking new waterslide, everyday for a week and a half, these giant inflatable tentacles were installed on the balcony of NOVA’s iconic building in Subiaco.

The outdoor spectacular coincided with an on air and online promotion giving listeners the chance to ‘have a crack at Kraken’ with NOVA’s Katie and Lenno.

“This was mission to make happen and special thanks need to go out to some special people,” said SHED’s Andrew Tinning: “Debra Neve at Carat and NOVA’s Nina Santella, Gary Roberts and in particular Daniel Rigg were instrumental in getting it off the ground.”

SHED’s Drew Ridley said Kraken is Australia’s biggest and best waterslide, so it needed something big to launch it.

“Now that the tentacles have done their dash at NOVA, don’t be surprised to see them popping up elsewhere this summer.”
