Four straight for Humaan at national Web Awards

HumaanAwards_BLOG.jpgPerth digital agency Humaan continued a stellar run at the national Australian Web Industry Awards with a national win for the fourth consecutive year.

Humaan took out the trophy in the small business category for Boat Equity, a website that offers a digital solution for boat sharing. This recent win takes Humaan’s total national wins to six, across five categories, in the five years since opening their doors. This strong record is bolstered by 17 state wins in that time.

Humaan director, Jay Hollywood (pictured), said the recipe for success was based on delivering a bespoke outcome for each client.

“The awards are really only an indication that the focus is on the client and our own process is sound. We don’t set out to win awards; our primary aim is to make sure the outcome achieves the objectives for the project and exceeds expectations for both the client and end user. If any additional accolades come along, that’s just a bonus.”

Humaan has also gained international attention for its work, with several features in design publications and Awwward-recognised websites. This has led to a widespread global client base and work that includes promotional websites, eCommerce, digital campaigns, and app development.

A recent shift into new Northbridge offices has set the stage for the next phase in Humaan evolution. With the softening of the mining and resources sector, the digital economy shows enormous potential for growth opportunities. This is evident in recent government announcements declaring a commitment to innovation in the digital space, something Hollywood feels Humaan is poised to take advantage of.

“We’re really positive about what the future holds. There are a number of exciting things in the works that we think will really define us as a company. It’s an exciting time to be in digital.”
