Leadership change for SevenTwenty in WA as Allen Smith relocates to open Brisbane office

Comms & Marketing industry recruitment specialist SevenTwenty has announced a leadership change for Western Australia, with founder and Managing Director Allen Smith relocating to expand the business to Brisbane.

Daniel Robinson and Lukas Stueckel will now assume dual leadership of the local business. They will jointly continue to manage and service marketing recruitment across WA’s top advertising marketing digital & creative sectors.

Smith said moving to Brisbane was a logical choice for expansion.

“The demand for talent, industries that support the advertising & media sector, and the prevailing business culture are almost identical to Perth. After some exploratory meetings with many of the industry leaders in Brisbane there is a real opportunity to make an immediate impact. It’s already producing incredible creative work on the world stage but it so often goes un-noticed by many aspiring marketing & creative professionals looking abroad for their next opportunity.”

SevenTwenty will officially launch in Brisbane at this Saturday’s BADC Awards Night, of which they are a Gold sponsor, and will open its doors in November 2015.

Smith said he was thankful for the opportunities he had been given in Perth since he started the business here four years ago.

“I have been blessed to be mentored by several incredible leaders in Perth’s marketing and creative industry who have helped me really understand how the business works. I’ve also been fortunate to have the support and trust of my clients and candidates who have been unashamedly honest with their feedback.
