Perth Radio Survey 6 results released
Mix 94.5 has once again topped the ratings in the latest GfK Metro Radio Survey, with stablemate hit92.9 enjoying a 1.1% lift in P10+.
Mix 94.5 recorded the slightest of rises – 0.1% 14.3% share P10+. It’s result was helped by a 3.5% jump to 19.3% share of P55-64, however it recorded declines in all younger demographics, including -1.9% in its core P40-54 demo. Nevertheless, the station comfortably led that group on 19.9% ahead of 96fm on 16.7%.
Nova 93.7 is #2 P10+ on 12.1%, up 0.4% from Survey #5. It was helped by a monster 34.6% share of P10-17s, well ahead of hit92.9’s 19.9% share. Nova was also the #1 commercial station for P25-39 on 19.1%.
hit92.9’s rejuvenation continued, with a rise of 1.1% to 11.0% and the #3 spot P10+, as well as rises in P18-24 (+1.8 to 28.5%, #1 in the demo), P25-39 (+0.4 to 15.9%) and P40-54 (+2.8 to 8.3%).
It was a disappointing survey for 96fm. It fell 0.8% overall to 9.4% P10+. It recorded a rise of 2.5% to 9.9% P10-17, but lost ground in P18-24 (-1.1 to 6.1%), P25-39 (-1.7 to 10.5%), P40-54 (-1.6 to 16.7%) and P55-64 (-1.6 to 7.8%).
6PR was still the #1 commercial for P65+ and recorded a rise of 2.3 % to 22.7% in that demo.

Nova’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun were #1 in Breakfast, recording a 1.5% rise to 13.5% just ahead of Mix 94.5’s Clairsy, Shane and Kymba on 13.2%.
Drive has become a battle of the networked shows. Nova 93.7’s Kate Tim & Marty led the way on 16.3% (+0.8), followed by hit92.9’s Hamish & Andy on 15.4% (+2.6). Mix 94.5’s local Lisa & Pete were #3 on 14.6%.
Nova recorded the largest Cumulative Audience of 512,000 P10+, while Mix 94.5 recorded the largest Average Audience of 54,000 for its Morning session.
