FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER – SLICK DESIGN

A boutique studio with a global mind-set, we are a team of fast-paced, highly driven creatives with a focus on cutting edge design.

We are looking for an experienced web developer with the passion and enthusiasm to undertake a broad range of projects across a variety of industries. The position will be responsible for the development of websites (desktop and mobile optimised) and EDMs (table-based layouts) – all with cross-browser and device support. We design for web using Adobe InDesign, candidates are required to have a working knowledge of InDesign or be willing to learn.

The successful candidate will be able to understand a brief, work from custom-created designs and manage projects from conception to launch within specified time frames. You must also be confident in liaising directly with clients in a courteous, professional manner, and constantly strive to push technological boundaries within the industry.

Essential skills:

•  Minimum 1 years experience

•  HTML5 and CSS3

•  JavaScript (jQuery)

•  PHP and MySQL

•  CMS Experience (particularly WordPress)

•  Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

•  Great communication skills and a team attitude

Advantageous:

•  Experience in building online shops/e-commerce websites

•  Experience using Bootstrap

•  Graphic/Digital design skills

• Demonstrate collaborative approach to maximising opportunities within the Dentsu Aegis Network on behalf of our clients.
• Build and maintain successful working relationships with Media owners to ensure our clients receive the best possible opportunities to ensure successful return on investment.
• Build and maintain successful working relationships with other external partner agencies working on our client’s businesses to ensure Vizeum is seen as a professional and co-operative member on the client account.
• Consistently report on client campaigns and activities and manage and resolve issues professionally and in a way that improves the relationship among all parties to the campaign.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-4 Years media experience, 3+ in media planning and/or strategy development.
• Demonstrated leadership & people management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and move effectively from detail orientated tasks to more managerial issues effecting the agency
• Energetic and passionate to create meaningful change within Vizeum for the achievement of company objectives
• Communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with staff and key stakeholders
• Demonstrated negotiation, written and oral communication skills.
• Presentation creation and delivery skills
• Demonstrated understanding of key planning & research tools.
• An understanding of the Australian media landscape.
