Mix 94.5 wins tender to provide the soundtrack for City of Perth Skyworks for the next three years

Continuing its long association with the event, mix94.5 has won the tender to deliver the soundtrack for the City of Perth’s Skyworks for the next three years, with 2016 marking the 32nd year of Perth’s iconic Australia Day fireworks.

For the past 13 years, mix94.5 has supplied the soundtrack to Skyworks, which reflecting the feel of the nation’s day and what the celebrations are all about.

“We are very proud to have mix94.5 back on board as our official radio station and soundtrack provider,” said City of Perth Lord Mayor, Lisa Scaffidi. “The soundtrack is an integral ingredient of our Skyworks event, and every year hundreds of thousands of people look forward to hearing what new and classic hits make the cut. Since 2003, mix94.5 has supplied the iconic soundtrack to Australia’s biggest and best Australia Day Celebration and we cannot wait to hear what they have in-store for 2016.”

Southern Cross Austereo Perth General Manager, Linda Wayman said mix94.5 was very excited to be again involved with the City of Perth Skyworks.
