OrangeSeedProject.jpgFor the fourth year, The Orange Seed Project will offer more than $350,000 in gifts and prizes to be shared among 10 not-for-profit organisations.

The concept of The Orange Seed Project was developed by Busselton-based agency Jack in the box and The West Australian as a means to give back to the WA community.

In its three years so far, The Orange Seed Project has injected $800,000 into the WA not for profit community. Now in its fourth year, The Orange Seed Project will be bigger and better than ever, working to give back to the community and offering not for profits something they have otherwise been unable to achieve.

The Major Gift Recipient will receive a gift valued at $125,000. This includes:

• $50,000 marketing sponsorship package from Jack in the box

• $50,000 advertising sponsorship package from The West Australian

• $10,000 advertising sponsorship package from West Regional Newspapers

• $10,000 Community Service Announcement from Channel 7

• PLUS a $5,000 cash donation from The West Australian

Nine finalists will receive a $25,000 advertising sponsorship package from The West Australian  as well as a $1,000 cash donation.

The West Australian’s  sponsorship and events manager Nicola Bedwood said The Orange Seed Project aimed to help equip organisations with the knowledge and resources to succeed in the long term and continue the amazing work within WA.

“The Orange Seed Project helps organisations grow and prosper by planting a seed and watching it grow,” she said. “It helps organisations to market themselves by using advertising sponsorship in a way that is otherwise so costly when they’re are running on tight budgets and funding.”

The Major Gift Recipient will be announced at The Orange Tie Event, where the Final 10 organisations will be invited for an evening of celebration.

Applications close Tuesday 5 May. For more information visit theorangeseedproject.com.au
