Perth Radio Survey 2 results released
Mix 94.5 has dropped 1 percent in the latest GfK Metro Radio Survey but is still comfortably #1 People 10+. The station is on 13.9% share P10+ and also a clear #1 in its key demo of P40-54 on 22.9%.
96FM recorded another solid result to be #2 P10+ on 11.3%. Its strongest demo was P25-39 where it recorded a 1.7% lift to a 16.8% share.
Nova 93.7 is in the #3 positionP10+ on 11.1%. It also recorded a 1.7% increase in P25-39 to be the leading commercial station in that demo on 17.2% behind non-commercial JJJ on 18.5%. Nova is also the #1 commercial station in 18-24s with 19.8% and has a huge 35.3% share of 10-17s to make it the leading station for under 40s.
The revamped and relaunched hit92.9 continues to build slowly and was the only station not to record a loss in any demo, although it still has some ground to make up on its under-40 rivals.
6IX enjoyed a successful result, recording rises in all demos except 65+.
6PR remained fairly stable with a very strong +4.4% gain in P65+ for a 20.2% share in that demo.
In Breakfast, ABC720’s Eoin Cameron slipped 0.7% but was still #1 on 15.0% ahead of Mix 94.5’s Clairsy, Shane & Kymba on 12.7%.
Cameron recorded Perth’s highest Average Audience of 53,000 while Mix 94.5 recorded the highest commercial station Average Audience of 49,000 for its Morning session.
Nova 93.7 recorded the largest Cumulative Audience of 537,000 for People 10+.
