  • Return flights for two people to Europe flying Qatar Airways to be won in the Raffle. $20 for 1 ticket or $50 for 3 tickets.
  • A luxury ‘Indonesian Indulgence’ holiday for 6 people and a $10,000 travel voucher amongst the items to go under the hammer in the Major Auction.

  • Two special wine collections with top drops donated by the industry’s top bosses amongst a great range of items in the Silent Auction.

Erection of the Big Top on Langley Park is well underway in preparation for Friday night’s Oasis Ball and Campaign Brief Awards. It’s going to be huge.

Remember, apart from being a great party, the Oasis Ball supports the Salvation Army’s Crossroads West program for youth at risk. It’s a great cause run by some unbelievably caring people, and they really need and appreciate our help.

One very quiet auction

Make sure you head to Sideshow Alley and check out all the exciting items up for grabs in this year’s Silent Auction. Harvey Norman vouchers kindly donated by our friends at Channel 7, a premium Electrolux Lavazza coffee machine, vouchers to dine at some of Perth’s top venues and the Chairman’s Selection is back bigger than ever. Thanks to the generosity of our industry heavyweights this year we have 2 selections to choose from, both with some very special bottles of wine, French bubbles and even some spirits in the mix.

And if you would like to take a piece of this special night home with you –  for the first time at Oasis we are delighted to showcase 4 of Perth’s most talented urban artists who’s art you will have spotted around Perth City walls, bars and restaurants. The Artists will paint live in Sideshow Alley. All pieces will be available to purchase on the night. A huge thanks to Space Oddities Live Art for this unique and exciting activation.

Other items up for grabs include Audiofly Headphones, a Good Food Hamper…we’ve even got group passes to Bounce Cannington.

Bids for the Silent Auction close at 11.00pm sharp.

And one massive auction

The Major Auction has an amazing range of media packages in it, as well as two fabulous travel packages. Check out the full listings here.  This is the most important fundraising part of the night so please bid up.

Win a trip to Europe in the Raffle

First prize in the Raffle this year is 2 x return tickets to Europe, courtesy of Qatar Airways. That’s a great prize and it’s just $20 for 1 ticket or $50 for 3.

The big reminder : Tickets + Wrist Bands please

By now everyone should have their tickets and all-important wrist bands. Being in such a public place security will be very tight, so you must be wearing your wrist band to gain access.

Remember, we are under the Big Top at the east end of Langley Park (see map below). Entry to the tent will be from the Riverside Drive side but drop-offs need to be on Plain Street or Terrace Road. You can’t stop on Riverside Drive.

NightCircus_Map_BLOG.jpgThere will be strobe lighting in effect on the night.

Anyone who suffers from epilepsy or light sensitivity needs to be aware of that. Also loud music. And general revelry. Maybe even some dancing.

Bring some cash

You’ll need some for the Raffle, plus some $2 coins for our Sideshow Alley, Cocktail Bar, Pamper Palace, Photobooth and much, much more.

So we hope you all have an amazing time at the 20th Oasis Ball.  It’s been a year in planning so we hope that you enjoy yourselves, and dig deep on behalf of the Salvation Army Crossroads West program.

Thank you to the event’s major partners – Adshel, Evoke Media, Channel Nine, oOh Media

Donors to the major auction – too numerous to mention! WA media, you’ve outdone yourselves this year.

Donors to the Silent Auction – brilliant again.

DG PR and the incredible behind the scenes team and suppliers for this epic undertaking.

The Oasis Ball Committee – Marianne Stelmach (96fm/6PR), Angela Naaykens (The Brand Agency), Cindy Henderson (OMD), Chris Eyres (Nine), Kristy Mansfield (Southern Cross Austereo), Georgie Frampton (Youngbloods/Meerkats), Suzanne Beecroft (Meerkats), Chris Western (Salmat), Rene Migliore (SHEDcsc) and Marnie McKeown (Fairfax Media).

And finally, our amazing patron – The Salvation Army’s Crossroads West program.  Without them and their team, this event would not occur, nor make a major difference to the lives of at risk adolescents in WA.

See you all on the night!  It’s going to be HUGE.
