STRATEGIC PLANNER – MARKETFORCE

MARKETING MANAGER – FAIR GO FINANCE

The non-bank consumer finance sector is an innovative and evolving segment around the world and Fair Go Finance is looking for a Marketing Manager that can help drive the business to be the best in Australia.  Leading a team and working with domestic and international agencies/consultants, you will coordinate activities to grow the business by marketing directly to consumers and via partnerships with some iconic Australian household brand names.

Key deliverables of the role are as follows:

  • Effectively develop and implement the business marketing strategy  across product groups to ensure the customer experience reflects our goal of being the best non-bank personal finance provider in Australia;
  • Work internally and with agencies to continually refine the content on the website(s) and other B2C & B2B communications to ensure they are  consistent with our brand, reflects the relevant target markets and supports a broader SEO strategy;
  • Enhance existing partnerships by continually reviewing our offerings as appropriate to execute an evolving business strategy;
  • Oversee the online customer and stakeholder engagement through CRM platforms and forums such as twitter, blogs, microsites and social media.
  • Work with the Business Intelligence and IT departments as well as providers to use data and software to improve customer engagement and conversion rates;
  • Lead the Marketing team (digital marketer, BDM, content writer), peers and vendors to ensure they  deliver their responsibilities on time and on budget;
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the FGF marketing strategy against key metrics such as customer engagement, brand awareness and market share and implement improvement initiatives.

Desired Experience

To take our current marketing activities and the business to the next level we believe the successful applicant will have the following track record and skills:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years marketing experience, not necessarily in the financial industry;
  • Experience either in-house at an online and business-to-consumer organisation or at an agency working with growing brands;
  • A passion for all things online and up to date knowledge of SEO, social media and CRM strategies and how to tie these together to ensure superior customer engagement;
  • Demonstrated success in project management and vendor selection and management;
  • A familiarity with PR/GR and media communications;
  • Strong leadership, team development and relationship building skills;
  • Qualifications – Marketing deg
    ree and other relevant qualifications.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and purpose in a rapidly evolving environment.

Fair Go Finance’s main office is currently located in a modern office on the foreshore in Mandurah and the successful candidate will have the ability to work between it and a Perth CBD location.
