From next Monday, February 23, RedFM will replace WAFM in Karratha, Port Hedland, Geraldton and Broome bringing with it an eclectic mix of hit music for the people in these areas.

RedFM already services many remote towns and mine sites across WA and General Manager Ian Kennedy said feedback from listeners has been a driving force behind the move.

“We have had numerous requests over the years from listeners asking us to bring RedFM to them and I’m proud to say that now we can deliver.”

Kennedy said he was thrilled to able to deliver something new and fresh for residents in the four towns.

“RedFM has been an iconic radio brand in regional Western Australia for many years and I’m excited that Karratha, Port Hedland, Geraldton and Broome will have now access to the station.”
