Cummins & Partners Melbourne ECDs Jim Ingram + Ben Couzens to speak at Emergence Festival
The 2015 Emergence Creative Festival is fast approaching and a number of new speakers and collaborators have been added to the line=up.
Joining Lee Hunter (Google), SuzAnne Brantner (The Family Business), Daniel Matros (DICE) and Kylie Robertson (Penguin) will be Executive Creative Directors and partners of Cummins & Partners Melbourne, Jim Ingram and Ben Couzens. Founder and Executive Producer of award-winning post production house Heckler, Will Alexander, will also be joining the program.
Ingram and Couzens have been the creative minds behind some of the biggest and most awarded advertising ideas in Australia and the world, including creating the acclaimed Schweppes ‘Burst’ commercial which was the second most awarded television commercial in the world in 2009. They also created the Bonds Birthday Project, pioneered the world’s first ever Video Stamp for Australia Post, and turned around ten years of decline for Victoria Bitter with their campaign “Hands”, “Shirt” & “Sweat” which returned the brand to the #1 position in Australia.
Alexander opened Heckler’s doors in 2010 and soon began working with adland’s most progressive, including agencies Droga5, Saatchi & Saatchi and BMF, as well as clients Qantas, Woolworths and Toyota, to name a few.
In its second year of running Heckler was crowned Creative Magazine’s Post Production Hotshop of the Year. Alexander was also executive producer of Australian Academy Award winning short film A Cautionary Tail, starring Cate Blanchett.
