Block releases two new posters for Feral Brewing to promote short-run, limited edition beers
Block has released new poster work for Feral Brewing Company. The posters reflect Feral’s philosophy of being unashamedly and obsessively dedicated to its product and the craft of brewing.
In addition to its iconic beers that have attracted a cult following, Feral have a ‘Brewpub Series’ of experimental short-run, limited edition beers that play with unusual flavours and styles. These make their way to specialist retailers.
Hopfen Fahrt (German for ‘hopping fast’ or ‘fast hops’) – a German IPA – is the latest of these experiments to make it into a bottle. It is a divisive blend of new world German hops with a flavour that isn’t for the faint-hearted.
Boris is another brew that started as an experiment, was previously released as part of the Brewpub Series and proved so popular that it has now been elevated to a semi-regular brew. Again, Boris isn’t a beer to be taken lightly, it’s a big heavy Russian Imperial Stout that weighs in at 9.1% ALC/VOL. You will find it stocked at beer specialists.
“Neither of these beers are for everyone,” said Block’s Mark Braddock. “Both required promotion to a niche audience in keeping with Feral’s anarchistic design approach. We created posters that would firmly position the brews outside of mainstream, corporatised ‘craft’ brewing and reflected the full-on experience of what is contained within the bottle.”
