Hancock Creative founder Alecia Hancock named Telstra Business Women’s Award finalist

AleciaHancock_BLOG.jpgHancock Creative director and founder Alecia Hancock has been named a finalist in the WA Telstra Young Business Women’s Award for 2014.

Hancock has worked in the media for more than 15 years, and launched boutique creative agency Hancock Creative in 2010 to help businesses connect with their audiences using content.

She has worked on award-winning digital campaigns for the Office of Road Safety and the Western Australian Electoral Commission, and managed projects for a diverse portfolio of clients from best-selling author Fleur McDonald to 303Lowe, Devahasdin, Buzz Marketing, Stockland, IGA, Hippo Creek and Ace Cinemas.

In 2012, Hancock was ranked #38 on Campaign Brief WA’s Creative Rankings.

The journalist and former magazine editor is also a regular contributor for The West Australian and has been published in Kidspot, marie claire, Cosmopolitan and SilverKris.

Earlier in 2014, Hancock also launched the Australian Writers’ Centre in Western Australia and has helped more than 160 students on their journey to becoming writers and bloggers.
