Perth Radio Survey 5/2014 results released
GfK‘s Metro Radio Survey 5/2014 has been released today.
Mix 94.5 retains top spot overall, despite recording a slight fall of -0.9% from Survey 4 to 14.2% share of People 10+. They are followed by Nova 93.7 on 12.4% – a rise of 0.6% – and 96fm on 10.7%.
In specific demographics, non-commercial JJJ recorded the survey’s biggest gain of 8.9% in 18-24s to lead on 32.7%, ahead of Nova on 20.7%. The same stations are #1 and 2 in 25-39s, JJJ on 19.8% and Nova on 18.6%.
40-54s has tightened up from Survey 4. Mix 94.5 is still #1 on 22.1% but 96fm has closed the gap on 21.0%.
It was a great survey for AM stations 6IX and 6PR.
6IX gained 3.1% in 55-64s to lead the demo on 16.0%, ahead of Mix 94.5 (15.6%) and ABC720 (15.1%). 6PR gained 6.0% in P65+ to lead that demo on 25.4%.
In the ‘battle of Breakfast’ it’s getting really tight. ABC720’s Eoin Cameron and Mix 94.5’s Clairsy, Shane & Kymba are tied on 13.5%, with Nova’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun snapping at their heels on 13.2%.
